Paul van de Coenen.

Born and raised in the heart of the Ruhr area, now living in Rhein-Main, Dirk Paul S., AKA Paul van de Coenen, began his musical journey at the age of 21 as the organizer of the first techno raves in the Ruhr area. His first interest in the electronic music scene was in 1992 at the IT Club Amsterdam, and that's when Paul van de Coenen knew he wanted to be part of 'The Scene'. Since 1996 he has been involved in numerous event and club productions such as the legendary TEMPLE Club, the Cycle, Frankfurt Progressive Night, es paradis / Star Club and later as the sole organizer of a series of events with the psy-trance legend "Antaro" by Spirit Zone HH. He did various warm-ups at his own events before the doors opened in clubs that featured big names like Taucher, Andy Düx, Marc Spoon, Andry Nalin and many more. After Paul made his calling to his job in 2003, he worked backstage and was involved in the organization and implementation of the biggest event and tour productions such as ACDC, Manowar, REM, The Dome, etc. This was followed by numerous jobs for venues such as the Arena Oberhausen, Stardome and the legendary Loreley open-air stage as well as the functions of technical director at e.g. the "Undisputed Peace Festival" for FRW Records Vienna. Due to the professional change, the last live acts took place in 2003 at the trade fair “König-Pilsener Dj Meeting 2003”, the “Groove Night Festival” and the official Kylie Minouge World Tour backstage event. After the last release on vinyl "Cosmic" in 2004, Paul finished music producing because of a lack of time. 16 years later it is now time to give his passion the necessary time again.
